YouTube Lighting One Person Media Studio Light Jiyoon Molus X100

Today, I brought a small 100W shooting light, Jiyoon Molus X100. These days, all equipment is on the trend of miniaturization and light weight, but I didn’t expect 100 watt lighting to be this small.
It has a main body, a battery, a power adapter, a mount reflector, etc. Components vary depending on the combo option or normal. I chose Jiyoon Molus X100 combo and 3 more reflectors followed.

The usability of these reflectors wrapped in silicon is high, so I like the composition.

It looks like a small camera. There’s a small LED in the front When the light is turned on, heat is released forward, so be careful of burns. The weight of the body alone is 385g and the output is 100W One interesting fact is that it supports wired connection, but it can also be used wirelessly with a battery connection. This is probably why a lot of people recommend it as a YouTube light

There are two 4/1 threaded wires at the bottom of the body, so you can attach the battery and move it according to the center of gravity. Perfect for normal tripod environments.

Battery mounted module. It is equipped with an extended battery to help you use it wirelessly. One disappointment is that even if you connect the power adapter with the battery installed, it will not be used while charging.

You need to charge it separately through the battery and USB C-type cable. It can also be connected to other auxiliary batteries in C type, and it is highly useful to use it without necessarily using a separate power source. I think this multi-environment is perfect for single-person media.

It is also convenient that you can control it with Bluetooth with Jiyoon app. The brightness as well as the color temperature can be controlled in more detail, so it is useful for video or photography.

In places where power is always difficult, batteries and these small reflectors are expected to be highly utilized Rather, I use it better than the Luxpad series. I don’t think it’s a very useful studio light, whether it’s powered by an auxiliary battery or a C cable or a battery.
